Download this ZIP archive and extract the contents into C:\Program Files (x86)\PlayOnline\SquareEnix\FINAL FANTASY XI. Tonberry has some custom content which will require a small patch to show said content properly. Once complete, close PlayOnline.Īt this point, the game will run for most FFXI private servers. Accept the prompt and let PlayOnline update your game. PlayOnline will, after a few moments, say that files need to be repaired. The entire process should look exactly like this album of screenshots. IMPORTANT: select "Final Fantasy XI" from the dropdown list, then continue. Reopen PlayOnline and go to "Check Files" on the left hand menu. Navigate to your PlayOnline installation folder and go to this directory: C:\Program Files (x86)\PlayOnline\SquareEnix\FINAL FANTASY XI\ROM\0\ then delete the first file on the list "0.DAT".
